We will be expanding this section with FAQ and Tutorials in due course as common issues are reported and resolved.

Viewing Issues:
Generally very few users have issues viewing our seminars as the videos are encoded for the cross-platform browser-based application called Flash Player®. This delivers uncompromised viewing of content, and videos across screens and browsers. Smooth, high-quality video is delivered using H.264 video decoding. However if you do encounter issues please consider the following information:

Internet Explorer Viewers - Flash Player content should play within the Microsoft browser without any problem. The only issues reported to us previously have all been as a result of internet firewall/security issues that are outside our direct control. In those circumstances, please adjust your security settings or seek help from your network administrator. In addition, out of date flash player applications can also potentially cause. You may download the latest compatible version of flashplayer here. Other users have reported that ActiveX controls could not be registered on their corporate network and that once the admin rights and registry were restored the videos played as required. Please click here for more information from Microsoft Answers.

Firefox Viewers - If you haven't already done so then you will need to install the Flash Player® plugin for Firefox. Click here to download this application from Adobe.

MAC O/S Users - Our video files are currently encoded for Flash Player® from Adobe. Please click here to download your free copy of the Flash Player for MAC OS. Alternatively, you may be interested in the free software from Flip-for-Mac that helps with playing Windows based content on MAC OS.

Still not playing? - We can assure you that we thoroughly test all our seminar videos prior to launch and if you see a black screen and the video does not play then the issue will almost certainly be a localised issue with your computer and/or network. To clarify our website is not causing any issue we ask that you test this Flash Player sample clip from Adobe before contacting our support staff.

You are welcome to contact us here at the Scothosts Internet Group where we will be happy to assist with all matters however we can.
